Name resolution for the name teredo.ipv6.microsoft.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded Windows 7 Pro. The problem also showed up on a brand new Windows 8 Pro box. I had recently started getting a Windows System Log warning that said "Name resolution for the name update.avg.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded". This was showing up as a "warning - DNS Client Events" with event ID 1014.
